Hello I’m Selin Kucukkaya

I'm Selin Kucukkaya, an academic in Psychology with a Master’s in Cognitive Neuroscience, specialising in the neuroscience of laughter, prediction mechanisms, and how our brains make sense of the world.

Currently I am a Health and Social Science lecturer, I bring a creative, student-centered approach to teaching—think less “boring lecture,” more “brain gym meets curiosity lab.” I believe learning should be engaging, collaborative, and a little bit fun (yes, even when we’re talking neural pathways).
